Coming out: this moment when we feel the need to put words on our sexual orientation or our gender identity and announce it to our friends, loved ones, or maybe just ourselves. Episode one welcomes Aiden Dutta, a queer teenager from India grappling with their intersectional identity and the effects of colonization. Aiden relays the pivotal moments in their life which brought them relief, joy, but also a source of rejection.
Aiden Dutta is a student of science and psychology. They have an independent podcast titled (un)learning, which breaks down the hardships of the cistem™. They are currently the director of diversity, equity, and inclusion at their high school in India. Aiden is an aspiring writer, completing programs with the likes of The New York Times, and hopes to publish his own work in gender studies.
